Mebendazole is used roundworm, whipworm infections, pinworm and hookworm infections.  Mebendazole is in a class of medications called anthelmintics.

It is used to treat a number of different conditions, such as inflammation (swelling), severe allergies, adrenal problems, arthritis, lung or breathing problems, blood or bone marrow problems, eye or vision problems, lupus, serious skin conditions, kidney problems, ulcerative colitis, and flare-ups of multiple sclerosis.

Product Details:

The onset of action is 1 to 6 minutes, provides an average pulpal anesthesia for 45 to 60 minutes, and is active in soft tissue for approximately 2 to 5 hours. The administered dose is excreted in the urine within 24 hours. The maximum dose is 7 mg/kg or 3.2 mg/lb.
